- a clean 2-litre plastic bottle with cap
- 80 cm of clear 4mm irrigation pipe
- scissors
- a sharp tool to make holes in the bottle cap
How you make it
Use a sharp tool to make 2 small holes in the bottle cap
Push the pipe through one hole, until it touches the bottom
Fill the bottle with water
Now you are ready to use it.
How you use it
Let the water flow
Cover the open hole with your finger, while squeezing the bottle.
Release: Take your finger away from the hole when the water starts flowing
Wash your hand and collect the water used in a bucket
Use soap.
Stop the water
Lift the pipe above the bottle cap and the water will stop flowing
Reuse the water
The water collected can be used for flushing or watering the garden.
Safety precautions
Keep the squeeze bottle out of sunlight. Rinse and change water every second day.
