- 1 litre milk
- 50 g plain yoghurt buy from store or take from a previous batch
How you make it
Boil the milk in a pot
Allow the milk to cool to lukewarm
Warm enough to keep your finger in for 10 seconds
Remove skin layer from milk
Add 3-4 tablespoons of yoghurt to the milk
This contains the starter cultures and you can add more for quicker development. Tartness of yoghurt depends on how long you leave it in the smart cooker.
Put on the lid and leave the pot in smart cooker overnight
Drain the liquid whey
Enjoy with flavours of your choice
