This ball can be used for all kinds of ball games. With this guide, you can make a small ball as well as a soccer ball. And the best: you can fully make it from recycling materials. That makes it free and environmentally friendly.

What you need

How you make it

Put all the bread bags in one bread bag

Scrunch each bread bag one at a time (or scrunch your damp paper into a ball) and put it inside a bread bag.

Squeeze as much of the air as you can out of the bag.

Push the inside bags (or paper) as far down as you can to make a small, firm, round ball.

Close the opening of the bag

The less air you have, the less likely the ball is to pop.

Tie a knot in the bag.

Make sure that you pull it right down onto the ball to stop the air from getting in.

Cut off the tail, right next to the knot.

Optional: Turn your netlon bag inside out, so that the knot is on the inside.

The netlon bag is optional, but it does make your ball stronger and less likely to pop. Turn your netlon bag inside out

Put the ball in the net so that the knot of the ball is on the side.

Cut your netlon into 2 equal pieces, right up to the edge of the ball.

Tie the two pieces together with 3 knots to make it very secure.

Cut the ends off and your ball is ready to play with!
