How you make it

Get your seeds

Buy them or take dried seeds that you gathered from your plants before.

Prepare the plot

Use a bucket of manure for each square meter. You can also add a handful of bone meal or fertilizer. Dig this in to a depth of 15cm and level the bed.

Make rows 20cm apart using the handle of a rake or broomstick

Sow the seed as thinly as possible in the rows

Cover with soil and a layer of mulch

Water with a spraycan or a tin with holes in the bottom

DO NOT use a bucket or hosepipe with a strong jet of water for watering your beds. Do not let the seeds dry out - water twice a day until the plants are up, then once a day.
