Vinegar

Vinegar has a lot acidity that makes it a good cleaning detergent. You can use it undiluted or mixed with water. Use it like a “normal” cleaning detergent for your kitchen surfaces, sinks, stainless steel applicances, fridge, toilet and windows. It is good to disinfect your countertop after preparing food. For badly burned pots just boil some vinegar with water in the pot and wait for 30 minutes.

Just put it on a sponge or cleaning cloth. For tough stains use it undiluted. For all other purposes mix it with one-part of water and fill it in a spray bottle.

Do not use it for wooden surfaces or electronic devices. If you have sensitive skin better use gloves.

Bicarbonate of Soda

You can use bicarbonate as a gentle cleaning agent and abrasive to wipe objects. Make a bicarbonate solution with a little bit of water. You can also add a bit of dishwashing liquid to it. Just put it on a cloth and wipe your kitchen counter, fridge, rubbish bin or sink. If you put a small amount of bicarb in a bowl in your fridge it will absorb unpleasant smells.
Do not use bicarb for cleaning aluminium.
