With this oven you can cook without using electricity or burning fire wood. As it is a slow cooking process, you have to adapt your habits a little bit.

How you make it

Cut out the parts for the oven

The solar oven is built from cardboard, polystyrene and sisalation. You will need to cut out shapes from all three materials using the following patterns:

Assemble the parts

Side 1 and 2

Apply glue to the cardboard and paste the polystyrene on. Apply to glue to the polystyrene and paste the sisalation on. Make sure not to glue the folding edge flaps of the sisalation and cardboard together yet

Put the parts together

How to use it

Install the finished panels inside the shack. Use wires or string to attach them to the roof and west and south facing walls.
